What if I am unable to make a session?

If you are unable to make a planned workshop or session please contact Kim Wiegand on 07 3233 8876 to let her know.

Am I able to make up for any sessions missed?

Yes, we are able to look at one-on-one time and you will also be able to make up some time from the missed session in your coaching sessions. We would encourage you to complete all the online work including reviewing the leadership tool kit and relevant readings.

What is a coaching circle?

A coaching circle is a coaching session conducted in a group. It is facilitated by one of our qualified coaches on the program, however its aim is to generate group discussion regarding a topic and sharing of ideas and experiences. All information shared during the coaching circle is confidential and “Chatham house” rules apply.

How do I choose a coach?

You have the opportunity to choose a coach by reviewing the profiles provided to you. We recommend that you look for things within the profile that might be of interest to you or may be different to your background. This will assist in providing you with different perspectives throughout the program.

What happens if I want to change my coach?

If for some reason you would like to change your coach, please contact Louise Ferris on 07 3233 8957 to discuss.

Are all coaching sessions face to face?

No, our coaching sessions - including the coaching circles - can be done through various mediums including face to face and via online applications such as Skype or Zoom.

Who is my key contact for Tomorrow’s GC?

What happens with the information through my coaching and DISC profile sessions?

Information discussed during your one-on-one coaching session and your DISC profile are confidential and will not be shared with your organisation, nor with your fellow participants. As part of your development, we encourage you to share this information with your direct manager and your team as part of your journey to enhancing your leadership skills.

If I have questions about the content of the program and want to know more who should I contact?

The content of the program has been designed by Dr Catherine See and Louise Ferris. If you have any questions about the content then please reach out to Louise on 07 3233 8957.

How do I know if I have made progress in this program?

Every individual will be different and everyone’s development path will be unique. We encourage you to reflect on the identified areas for improvement that you do in the first part of the workshop and reflect on these throughout your journey. Thinking about your leadership style and impact in a deliberate and careful way will mean that you have made progress – it has become part of the way you work. Being open to broader reading and other people’s ideas and thoughts also shows that you have made progress.

Who pays for any travel costs for the program, including parking?

Any travel costs incurred by you including flights, petrol and parking are to be paid for by your organisation and you need to follow the usual processes for reimbursement of these expenses.

Am I able to stay in touch with work during the workshops?

Yes, there will be breaks during the workshop and we understand that business keeps moving, so will be conscious of this through the day. We do ask though that you put measures in place, including diverting your phone and putting on an out of office email, during the day to keep disruption to a minimum.

What happens after the program?

We will stay in touch with our Alumni following the program and involve you in upcoming, related programs.

Can I earn CPD points?

If you hold an Australian Legal Practising Certificate and have immediate or long-term needs in relation to your professional development and practice area of the law, you will be able to claim one CPD unit for each hour of attendance as set out below.

The smallest fraction of a unit that can be claimed is half a point for half an hour based on the course material. If you require to claim CPD points for other professional disciplines other than law please speak to your peak industry body to determine whether the educational activity meets your compliance needs.
